I have a friend trying to trade me a Yanmar1300 with a rotor tiller on the rear. This has only a 2 point hitch and has a gear box or the like bolted to where the pto should be. Can I take this part off and a pto be there so I can hook up a small finish mower or do you havr to buy a kit or something. Also can I put a 3 point hitch on it and does someone make a 3 point hich kit. And last bit not least is the 1300 worth a flip. It cranks and runs great all controls work fine the only thing I see that could be a problem is it likes to do wheelies and that could be on kind of the heavy tiller.. any info would be great...Thanks James

The 1300 is a nice little tractor. It will handle a 48" pull behind mower. You remove the 4 bolts and it has a standard PTO shaft. Sooner Sales has a set of arms for sale on the Yanmar clubs page.Check it out. The Yanmar Club on Yahoo is a great source of information on the 1300. It also has several parts dealers on it. I deal in Yanmars. I couldn't do it without that club. ....

The US model YM155 is the same. You can get manuals from a dealer on the Yahoo Yanmar Club site. I have both parts and service myself. They are very detailed. There is also a generic manual for several models that is very basic and not as good. ....
